Yolanda Carma Rossi

June 14, 1938 — September 27, 2013

YOLANDA CARMA ROSSI A time to remember and celebrate the life of Yolanda Carma Rossi will be held at Ertel Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. Yolanda Carma Rossi (Bevilockway) was born June 14, 1938 in Ogden, Utah to John Rossi and Carma Jean Allen. She lived an amazing life until September 27, 2013 where lung cancer escorted her to the place of absolute peace and extravagant love. All knew her as a kind, open hearted, warm, receiving spirit, who was attentive to others more than herself. Friendships and family were most important to her. Known to have a keen sense of humor about humanity, she despised telemarketers, and loved many a good book. Educated at Western Montana College of Education, the University of Utah and UC Berkley, she enlisted into the Peace Corp which journeyed her to Ethiopia for a time. Employed at Macy's Department Store, North Salt Lake Service Drug, Salt Lake County, Montezuma RE-1 District, 26 years for the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, and retiring at the Cortez Library. She is survived by her brother, Johnny Wynn Rossi; sister, Constance O'Connor; son, Mathew Rossi; granddaughter, Hali Rossi; as well as countless friends and family in California, Utah, and Italy.
