WINNIFRED LORENE "WENDY" HALL Winnifred Lorene "Wendy" Hall passed away at Vista Grande Inn on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the age of 92. She was born the daughter of Herbert L. Rogers Sr. and Eva May (Pounds) Rogers on October 11, 1917 in Dickens County, Texas. Wendy and her family relocated to this area in the late 1920s. She married Carlos M. Hall on October 11, 1935 in Monticello, Utah. They shared nearly 30 years together before his death in 1965. Wendy worked eleven years as a nurse at Valley West Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She loved to garden and can her harvests, and collecting rocks and polishing them. Surviving Wendy are her children, Roger Evan Hall and wife, Sharon of Sandy, Utah, Arlene H. Knuckles and husband, John of Dove Creek, Evelyn Johnson and husband, Floyd of Dove Creek, Barbara Pearson and husband, Toby of Monticello, Utah, Eileen Hall and husband, Chuck of Wynnewood, Okla. and Marilyn Hendricks and husband, Dennis of Fremont, Calif.; by sixteen grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; and by her siblings, John J. Rogers of Casa Grande, Ariz., Bessie R. Jordan of Chapel Hill, N.C., William J. Rogers of Dove Creek, and Patricia Henderson of Grand Junction, Colo. Preceding Wendy in death were a daughter, Virginia June Hall; a son, Theodore Carlos Hall; her first grandchild, Wendy Lee Hall Walker; and her siblings, Mary R. Hall, Corrie R. Posey, Herbert Rogers, and Joyce Rogers. Cremation has taken place with no public services planned.
