Wilma Louise Wats-Combs-Macrae

WILMA LOUISE WATS-COMBS-MACRAE “BILLY” Wilma Louise Wats-Combs-MacRae “Billy” was born on October 10, 1918 in Indianapolis, Ind. the daughter of Frank and Katheran (Marshal) Watz. She passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. Billy and her husband Donald worked at numerous trading posts on the Reservation. She was a devoted member of the Cortez First Baptist Church and in her spare time, Billy was an avid reader. Surviving Billy are her children, James Combs and wife, Pat of Phoenix, Ariz., Roberta Haupt and husband, Bruce of San Diego, Calif., John Thomas Combs and Mathew Lynn Combs, both of Phoenix; four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Roberta Harper of Phoenix, and Allen Watz of Sullivan, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Carson Combs and Donald MacRae; and her siblings, Mildred Murdock and Frank W. Watz.
