WILLIAM RANDOLF "BILL" MOLINE Funeral Mass for longtime Cortez resident William Randolf "Bill" Moline will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 21 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. to service time at the church. Bill was born May 7, 1928 in Chicago, Ill. the son of William and Viola (Scharff) Moline. He passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Vista Grande Inn at the age of 82. Bill married Emma (Orenlas) Hoxsie in 1997 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. The couple shared 14 loving years together. Bill was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his beloved dog, Rambo. Bill had a deep love for the beauty of the Colorado mountains. He loved getting away on fishing trips with his grandchildren. Bill spent 10 years working for Mesa Verde Press in Cortez with his daughter and son-in-law. Surviving Bill are his wife, Emma Moline of Cortez; his daughters, Jeri Eck and husband, Norman of Kotzebue, Alaska and Jeanine Long and husband, Lonnie of Cortez; and his step-daughter, Randee Collins-Halls and husband, Randy of Durango. Bill also leaves behind eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his brothers, James Moline and wife, Tina of Chicago, Ill. and Robert Moline and wife, Elaine of Chicago; and a large extended family. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and by his wife, Eileen Marie Moline.
