WILLIAM RANDALL “RANDY” KIRKS Memorial services for lifelong Cortez resident William Randall “Randy” Kirks will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 27 at the Lewis-Arriola Community Center. Randy was born on April 1, 1957 in Cortez, the son of William F. Ince and Mary Louisa Pyle. He passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at his residence at the age of 49. Randy graduated from Montezuma-Cortez High School in 1975. He loved to ride and work on motorcycles. Randy was also a talented wood worker. Surviving Randy are his mother, Mary Louisa Pyle of Cortez; his fathers, Bill Ince of Sacramento, Calif., and Avon “Curley” Kirks of Montrose, Colo.; his son, Wylder W. Wilson of Telluride; his brothers, Richard M. Kirks and wife, Sheri of Cortez, and Robert S. Kirks and wife, Stacy of Mancos; and his nieces and nephews, Wesley Sage, Wiley, Mayan, and Aura Kirks, all of Mancos. Memorial contributions may be made in William R. Kirk’s name to Vectra Bank.
