William Ralph 'Bill' Saulters

Graveside services for Cortez resident William Ralph ‘Bill’ Saulters will be held at 2 p.m Friday, July 17, 2020 at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mancos, CO. Mr. Robert Saulters will officiate. Military Honors will be performed by the Veterans of Montezuma County. Visitation will take place from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Bill was born August 7, 1923 in Akron, OH the son of Robert Merle and Mary (Goodin) Saulters. He passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Vista Grande Inn in Cortez, CO at the age of 96.
Bill was a truck driver with over three million miles traveled accident free. He was a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he was a Temple worker and open to a lifetime of church callings.
Surviving Bill are his loving wife, Gladys Saulters; his children, Billie Ruth Peterson, Robert Merle Saulters, Russell Lee Saulters, and Dawnie Sue Saulters; 11 grandchildren; and 36 great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Rita Bridgewater.
