William Henry Boan

WILLIAM HENRY “BILL” BOAN William Henry “Bill” Boan passed away at Southwest Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the age of 74. He was born June 3, 1931. Bill was a graduate from Farmington High School. He came to the Cortez area in 1953. He had been a former member in Cortez Lions Club and BPOE Elks Lodge #1789. He enjoyed fishing and golfing, time spent around racehorses and horse racing. Bill enjoyed sports of all types. Surviving Bill are his wife of 17 years, Rondelle Delane (Swanner) Boan of Dolores; his son, Mike Boan of Cortez; stepchildren, Patricia Umberger of Cortez and Teri McEwen of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren; and his brother, Ronald Boan of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patty Boan Sellard. By Bill’s request, no services will be held.
