WILLIAM CARL “BILL” ROGERS Inurnment services for William Carl “Bill” Rogers will be held Monday, May 7 at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Bill was born the son of William Carl Rogers Sr. and Lillian Evangeline (Mead) Rogers on February 9, 1929 in Larned, Kans. He passed away at Vista Grande Inn on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the age of 78. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving Bill are his children, Richard Rogers of Arvada, Colo., Margi Puls and husband, Don of Cortez, and Chris Madigan of Craig, Colo. He is also survived by his grandchildren, David and Anna Puls, Daniel and Kristi Puls, Jessica Rogers, Nathaniel Rogers, Brittany Madigan and Rebecca Madigan; his sister, Mary Hasting of Denver, Colo.; and three brothers, James Rogers of Santa Anna, Calif., Don Rogers and wife, Roxy of Conway, Ark., and Bob Walther and wife, Betty of California. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley Delores (Dill) Rogers; a brother, Ralph Rogers; and a sister, Genadene Study.
