William "Bill" Robert Bone

William “Bill” Robert Bone was born on January 26, 1955 in Pueblo, Colorado to William and Betty Bone. Bill passed away on March 26, 2023 at his home in Cortez, Colorado. 

Surviving Bill are his wife Ellie; his children Willy (Wendy) Bone, Anna Fish, Shawna (Bear) Bone; his grandchildren Tommy Bone, Claudia Bone, Alora Heredia, Dalton Heredia, Joe Fish, Alex Hess, Emily Newton, Jacob Bone, Tiernan Bone, and Nealon Bone; great grandson Bently Meyers; his brothers and sisters Phyllis “Sis” (Dick) Kent, Tom (Loraine) Bone, Rus Bone, Joseph Bone, and Amy (Kevin) Henry; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, and being with friends and the outdoors.  

There will be a memorial for Bill on August 26, 2023. Details will be posted at a later date.  

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!" ~ Hunter S. Thompson
