William A. Giles

WILLIAM A. “BILL” GILES William A. “Bill” Giles, 76, of Mancos passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo. on Wednesday, February 28, 2007. He was born April 9, 1930 the son of Fred and Edwina (Paxson) Giles at Placerville, Calif. Bill married Diane Garibaldi on November 4, 1956 in San Leandro, Calif. The couple celebrated fifty years of marriage that past November. Bill loved the outdoors and hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed woodworking and was known for his love of animals. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Surviving Bill are his beloved wife, Diane Giles of Mancos; two daughters, Doreen Drake and husband, Rich of Auburn, Calif., and Donna Osbaugh and husband, Rick of Lakewood, Colo.; three grandchildren, Rachael Harper, and Kailey and Nicole Osbaugh; and one sister, Barbara Holleman of Pleasanton, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dick and Allen Giles.
