Wesley James Tom

A Celebration of Life for San Diego, California resident Wesley James Tom will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Ertel Funeral Home. Wesley was born May 4, 1967 in Shiprock, New Mexico, the son of James and Nellie (Hanley) Tom. He passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 in San Diego, California at the age of 55.

Surviving Wesley are his spouse Lea Tom of San Diego, California; his children, Jennifer Watts (Anthony) of Towaoc, Colorado, Kiffani Tom (Gerardo) of Los Angeles, California and Ashley Rowan (Stephanie) of Portland, Oregon; his grandchildren, Reign, Liliene, Adae’a and Elias; his father, James Tom; his siblings Henry Tom (Laura), Marita Clyde (Danny), Bertha Frank (Gary), Alfred Tom (Cora), Tommy Tom, Gerald Tom (Shelinda), Rosina Brown (Alvin) and Lavena Tom (Hoover Tso); and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Wesley was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Tom; his sisters Lula Tom, Irene Tom, and his brother Emerson Tom.
