Wanda Jean Dankowski

WANDA JEAN DANKOWSKI On September 21, 1968 in Denver, Colo., Wanda Jean Dankowski was born the daughter of James Edward and Grace Irene (Shaw) Dankowski. She passed away at her Cortez home on Friday, April 18, 2014 at the age of 45. Wanda loved life. She enjoyed being outdoors riding motorcycles, but fishing was her number one enjoyment. Surviving Wanda are her mother, Grace Shaw of Westminister, Colo.; her children, Destiny Dankowski, Ashley Butler, and Shane Butler all of Denver, Colo.; her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jordan, Nadovia, Riley and Leeann; her significant other, Doug Riedeman of Cortez; her siblings, Wendy Lambert and husband, Jody of Erie, Colo., Edward Dankowski and wife, Mary Gray of Denver, Colo., Christine Maron and husband, David of Saginaw, Tex., Rebecca Enderson and husband, Mike of Loveland, Colo., Jessica Dankowski and husband, Chris of Thorton, Colo., and Joey Dankowski of Broomfield, Colo.; and her best friend, Tom Johnson of Mancos. She was preceded in death by her father, James Dankowski. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
