Wade Alex "Buck" Williams

WADE ALEX WILLIAMS Funeral services for Wade Alex “Buck” Williams will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, at the Lewis Arriola Community Center. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery. Wade was born March 7, 1988 in Cortez the son of Michael Lynn Williams and Cherrie Dawn Williford. He passed away April 17, 2004 at Lewis, Colo. Wade was 16 years old. A sophomore at Montezuma-Cortez High School, Wade was involved with Future Farmers of America. When not in school, he loved to fish and hunt. He also had a love of motorized vehicles; Wade enjoyed riding motorcycles and operating heavy equipment. Surviving Wade are his parents, Michael and Cherrie of Lewis; his sisters, Mary Lynn Dorenkamp and husband, Frank of Lewis and Kaylee Dawn Williams of Dolores; and his brothers, Thomas Mason Williams of Glenwood Springs, Colo. and Tyrell Page Williams of Lewis. His grandmothers, Ethel Taylor and June Bertram; and many cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family also survive Wade.
