VERGIL GLENN VAUGHAN Vergil Glenn Vaughan was born January 21, 1930 in Pueblo, Colo. the son of Thomas and Emma (Jurka) Vaughan. He passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at his Cortez home at the age of 81. Vergil was a popular auctioneer and rodeo announcer for many years. Vergil is survived by his wife, Mozelle of the family home in Cortez; his two sons, Kenneth and Gary both of Aztec, N.M.; his granddaughter, Cheryl Bailey; his three grandsons, Wayne and wife, Paula, Mike and wife, Kyla and Donald, all of the Farmington area; his daughter, Dorthy and husband, Don Brown of Cortez; his son, Larry Jackson and wife, Wendy of Lyman, Wyo.; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Vergil requested there be no service.
