She got a kick out of being the Mancos Day Queen one year, taking her back to her roots. She was an incredible homemaker. A very talented seamstress, and an excellent cook. She always had an extra plate for someone at the table. She was an abundant gardener, preserving food of one kind or another. She enjoyed bringing back organic gardening with her little side business of selling ladybugs, trichogramma wasps and praying mantis out of the garage.
