TRUDY DEL CHITTICK Memorial services for Cortez resident Trudy Del Chittick will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Barr Chittick will officiate. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Trudy was born on December 29, 1954 in Euclid, Ohio the daughter of Paul and Sara (Smith) Miller. She passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at her residence at the age of 55. On December 27, 1975, Trudy married Barr Turner Chittick Jr. in Euclid, Ohio. Trudy spent many years working in the health care industry. She was C.E.O. for seven years at a hospital in Thermopolis, Wyo. and most recently, Trudy was C.E.O of Southwest Memorial Hospital. Trudy was a member of Ruth Guild, Trinity Lutheran Church and she was a Fellow of ACHE. In her free time, Trudy enjoyed sewing and gardening. She received much joy and happiness in her life spending time with her family. Trudy was a hard worker who enjoyed her profession. Surviving Trudy are her husband, Barr Chittick of Cortez; and her children, Gavin Chittick of Columbia, S.C., Aaron Chittick and wife, Melissa of St. Louis, Mo. and Joshua Chittick and wife, Jacquelin of Cortez. Trudy also leaves behind her mother, Sara Miller of Willowick, Ohio; and her siblings, Dale Miller of Willowick, Ohio and Wendy Suydam and husband, Jeff of Ohio. Trudy was preceded in death by her father. Memorial contributions may be made in Trudy's name to Trinity Lutheran Church.
