TRACY EUGENE SANCHEZ Graveside inurnment services for lifelong Cortez resident Tracy Eugene Sanchez will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 21 at Summit Ridge Cemetery. Tracy was born August 25, 1973 in Cortez, Colo. He passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at his residence at the age of 42. Tracy was a Raiders fan through and through. He enjoyed painting pictures and he could color for hours on end. Tracy liked to fish and he really loved spending time with his friends. Surviving Tracy are his parents, Bert and Judy Pea of Dolores; and by his children, Keagan Sanchez, Jazy Sanchez, and Angelo Gray all of Cortez. He also leaves behind his siblings, Max Montoya (Sherry) of Dolores, Molly Robson of Cortez, Rhonda Hatfield (Paul) of Cortez, and Karen Sanchez of Cortez; his step-siblings, Israel Pea, Joe Pea, Mike Pea, Lena Lujan, Estrella Loya, and Marcos Pea; his half-siblings, Linda Sanchez, Mary Sanchez, Richard Sanchez Jr., Ruth Soto, Tina Sanchez and Christopher Sanchez; by numerous nieces and nephews; and by his cat, Rufus and dog, Suka. Tracy was preceded in death by his biological father, Richard Sanchez; by his half siblings, Gloria Gonzales and Eric Pea; his aunt, Isabelle Lopez; and by his uncle, Tommy Lopez.
