TOMMY JAY JETER

  Tommy Jay Jeter was born November 2, 1945 in Cortez the son of Dale Jay and Rosa Ellen (Harris) Jeter. He passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at his Cortez residence at the age of 77.

  Surviving Tommy are his children, Shane Jeter of Las Cruces, N.M., Libby Beach of Hayden, Colo., Tammy Jeter of Bloomfield, N.M. and Jessie Jeter of Bloomfield, N.M.; by his step-children, Dennis Judge and Lydia McAfee both of Cortez; by his siblings, Barbara Nolan (John) of Cortez and Darryl Jeter (Tanya) of Cortez; and by his significant other and caretaker, Terra Cone of Cortez. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; by his son, Charles Jeter; and by his brother, Lewis “Eddie” Jeter.

  Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
