TIMOTHY CHRISTOPHER HOBBS Memorial services for lifelong Mancos resident, Timothy Christopher Hobbs will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 6 at the Bradfield Bridge in Dolores County. A potluck will be held for family and friends following the service. Tim was born on February 28, 1984 in Durango, Colo. the son of Richard Dean "Rick" Hobbs and Brenda Christine Cordova. He passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 in Montezuma County at the age of 30. Tim loved being a father and raising his two boys, Kaden and Liev. He worked hard as a tile installer and was known as being the best. He was a true perfectionist and artist. During his spare time, Tim enjoyed watching sports, especially hockey, football and baseball. He participated in sports as well. He liked playing golf and softball. He also played the guitar and enjoyed fishing. Surviving Tim are his parents, Richard "Rick" Hobbs of Dove Creek and Brenda Cordova of Cortez; his two sons, Kaden and Liev Hobbs of Mancos; grandparents, Bernie Capron and husband, Bryce of Dove Creek, Robert Hobbs of Texas, Mildred Dunlap of Arizona; brothers and sisters, Grant Hobbs of Mancos, Derik Smith and wife, Kelsey of Cortez, Shelbee Hobbs of Dove Creek, Colin Hobbs of Dove Creek, Brandi Dunlap of Cortez, and Brian Novack of Texas. Preceding him in death are numerous grandparents; and his brother, Kyle Thomas. It is requested that family and friends bring pictures and memories to the service for a scrapbook going to Tim's sons. Donations can be made in Timothy Christopher Hobbs' name at Mancos Valley Bank, 138 N. Main St., Mancos, Colo. 81328.
