Thomas Paul 'Tom' Comisky

Funeral services for Cortez resident Thomas Paul ‘Tom’ Comisky will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Empire Chapel. Bishop Tim Lanier will officiate. Interment will follow at Arriola Cemetery. Visitation will take place before the service at 9 a.m. at the church.
Tom was born November 5, 1954 in Cortez, CO the son of Thomas Paul and Doris (Reynolds) Comisky. He passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his residence at the age of 64.
Surviving Tom are his wife, Hattie (Stuckman) Comisky of Cortez, CO; his children, Elaine Gurney (Marc) of Cortez, CO, Edward Comisky (Carrie) of Cortez, CO, Thomas Comisky (Rachel) of Cortez, CO, Bobby Comisky (Kelly) of Cortez, CO, Cristy Birch (Juston) of Cortez, CO; his siblings, Janie Gilliland (Bill), Joe Jones, Marjorie Barnett, Bill Comisky, Jerry Comisky; grandchildren, Clancey Comisky (Violet), Brittany Gurney, Sharmaine Gurney, Austin Gurney (Megan), Rielly Birch, Chance Comisky, Taylor Comisky, Tae Lynn Comisky, Logan Birch, Leigha Comisky, Jordan Comisky, Brianna Comisky, Thomas Comisky; and seven great grandchildren, Bronson, Trigger, Willow, Emmalina, Brecklynn, Trace, and Dawsynn. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandson, Preston Birch.
