THELMA MAYE FRITZLER Thelma May Fritzler, a resident of Cortez, went home to her heavenly father on January 15, 2006. She was 84 years old. Cremation will take place and burial will be sometime in the early spring at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Denver, Colo. Thelma was born on November 2, 1921 in Panama, Nebraska the second daughter of Paul and Sadie Ramer of Lebanon. Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, Pauline Walden; her brothers, Mearle, John, and Delbert Ramer; her daughter, Judy Lynn Gentry; and her husbands, William Daniel Ross, Benjamin J. Fritzler, and Melvin Butler. Surviving Thelma are her beloved sisters, Marylou Greenwood, and Wilma Huffman of Farmington, N.M.; her children, Margaret Ota of Yuma, Ariz., William James “Jimmie” Ross, and Beth Elaine Ross of Cortez. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made in Thelma’s memory to Hospice of Montezuma.
