TERRY RAIFF GORSUCH Memorial services for Terry Raiff Gorsuch a longtime area resident will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 8 at the Montezuma Valley Presbyterian Church with Pastor Steve Nofel officiating. A private interment service will be held. Terry was born August 6, 1940 in Durango, Colo. the son of Homer Adolph and Marie (Shields) Gorsuch. He passed away at his home on Friday, June 4, 2010 at the age of 69. On January 9, 1965 Terry married Rita Joyce Cook in Tulia, Texas. Earlier this year Terry and Rita celebrated 45 years of marriage. Terry was a co-founder of Triad Western Constructors, a business that he proudly operated for 30 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, and Elks Lodge, as well as devoted member of Montezuma Valley Presbyterian Church. Terry was an avid Broncos fan. Surviving Terry are his beloved wife, Rita Gorsuch of Dolores; his daughter, Traci Prather and husband, Dick of Canyon, Texas; son, Terry Dee Gorsuch and wife, Monica of Cortez; two grandchildren, Grayson Prather and Jadyn Gorsuch; by his two nephews, Jay Tipton and wife, Jo and Scott Tipton and wife, Jean; and by several other nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; by his brother, Joe Tipton; as well as by other brothers and sisters. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Terry R.
