Terrell Gabriel Maestas

TERRELL GABRIEL MAESTAS Funeral Mass for lifelong Mancos resident Terrell Gabriel Maestas will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16 at St. Rita Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. A Rosary service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Terrell was born January 22, 1998 in Denver, Colo. the son of Ignacio Christopher Maestas and Mattie Tyana Phillips. He passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 18. Terrell graduated from Mancos High School in 2016. He liked to play basketball, go 4-wheeling and cars. Terrell enjoyed hanging out with his friends and he and his father were best friends. Surviving Terrell are his father, Chris Maestas of Mancos; his mother, Mattie Phillips of Phoenix, Ariz.; his brother, Cory Maestas of Phoenix, Ariz.; his grandmother, Rose Martinez of Mancos; his Godparents, Gary Maestas of Bayfield, Colo., and Linda Archuleta of Ignacio, Colo.; and by many friends and extended family.
