TED VILLELLI A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, June 13, 2010, at the Baymont Inn for Cortez resident Ted Villelli. Ted was born Sept. 21, 1964, in La Habra, Calif. He was the last sibling of 10. He left his family and friends on Thursday, June 10, 2010. Ted lived in La Habra most of his life learning the family business and becoming a master chef. He was united into marriage with Renee Gloria Cossette on Jan. 13, 1990. Their first born, Paul Philip Villelli, graced their union Aug. 7, 1992. Two and a half years later, on March 20, 1995, Jill Michele Villelli completed their family. They moved to Cortez in 2003. They started their family business, Mama Ree's in 2006, where Ted practiced his lifelong trade of master Italian chef. It has been said that Ted had the ability to make the greatest Italian meatballs ever. People have traveled from all over the states to get a bite. Ted was known for his practical jokes and sense of humor. He always had something funny to say and was always willing to give a hug to a stranger. He loved to tinker with tools and was a very big fan of any form of racing. Ted will forever be loved and missed by his family and friends.
