Ted Forsberg

THEODORE HOWARD "TED" FORSBERG Theodore Howard "Ted" Forsberg was born on March 3, 1924 in Malad City, Idaho the son of Theodore Howard and Ida (Vanderwood) Forsberg. He passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at his Dolores home at the age of 84. Ted met Isabel Amos at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah where they were both employed. The couple was married a short time later and shared 47 wonderful years together. Ted devoted 40 years of his life to the Air Force. In his free time, Ted enjoyed fishing, hunting, fabricating model airplanes, hiking in the mountains, golfing, and gardening. Ted was a wonderful cook and storyteller. His dogs, Molly and Gypsy, brought Ted's life much joy. Surviving Ted are his daughters, Diane Jackson and husband, Ken of Lewis, Colo., and Karen Lange of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; his seven grandchildren, Tracey Delacruz and husband, Scott of Dolores, Colo., Ginger Stroup and husband, Scott of Lake Havasu, Ariz., Steven Randall of Federal Way, Wash., Skyler Lange and Cody Lange both of Federal Way, Wash., Christine Burke of Plano, Tex., and Mark Jackson and wife, Val of Corinth, Tex. ; eight great-grandchildren, Isabella, Ben, Victoria, Trevor, Ethan, Alex, Kelsey, and Sara; and his brother, Roger Forsberg and wife, Francy of Ogden, Utah. Ted was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Isabel Forsberg; and his sister, Mary Lou Howden.
