TANA RENAE BLACK Memorial services for Dolores resident, Tana Renae Black will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 24 at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Reverend Matthew Mays of the Angelican Church of Saint Philip the Evangelist. Tana was born on June 7, 1977 in Durango, the daughter of Phillip and Sandra (Wolf) Black. She passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2005 in rural Utah at the age of 27. Tana was an Engineer for Houston Construction in Durango. She loved her job and all of her co-workers. Horses were a passion of Tana’s, her horse Tilly was one of her dear loves. Her family and friends were adored and loved by Tana, as she was adored by them. She had an infectious smile that everyone around her enjoyed. She will be greatly missed. Surviving Tana are her mother, Sandy Black of Dolores; her father, Phil Black of Hobbs, N.M.; her sister Holly Baldwin and husband, Carl of Roswell, N.M.; her grandparents, Stanley and Nadine Black of Lewis; as well as her extended families the Wolf’s, Black’s and Goodall’s. Memorial contributions can be made in Tana’s name at Dolores State Bank.
