STANLEY ELLSWORTH "STAN" FROST Funeral services for lifelong Cortez resident Stanley Ellsworth Frost will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 26 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for Friday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. at Ertel Chapel. Stan was born July 6, 1978 in Cortez the son of Hanley Ellsworth Frost Sr. and Cynthia Silas. He passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at his residence at the age of 39. Stan enjoyed the outdoors. He liked to hunt, fish and 4-wheel. He was an accomplished carpenter that really liked to build things. He was a kind man that was always there to help out. Surviving Stan are his father, Hanley Frost Sr. (Victoria) of Ignacio; his daughter, Aren Frost of Cortez; and his siblings, Hanley Frost Jr. of Towaoc, Hillary Frost of Rio Rancho, N.M., Haley Frost of Rio Rancho, N.M., Megan Frost of Olympia, Wash., Jennifer Watts of Towaoc, Kiffani Tom of Bayfield, Teresa Peabody, Terri Peabody, Jerrett Whiteskunk and Nicole Taylor all of Towaoc; and his aunt, Mary Silas of Towaoc. Stan was preceded in death by his mother; and by his daughter, Raquel Frost.
