Simon Alden Light

Funeral services for Towaoc resident Simon Alden Light will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Towaoc Recreation Center. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 4 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Simon was born July 26, 1967 in Cortez, CO the son of Willie Light Sr. and Sybil Mae Hight. He passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Say Juan Regional Hospital in Farmington, NM at the age of 51.
Surviving Simon are his father, Willie Light, Sr. of Shiprock, NM; and his siblings, Elvena Leight of Shiprock, NM, Elizabeth Hobson (Melvin) of Farmington, NM, Willard Leight Jr. (Cassandra) of Towaoc, CO, and Jocelyn Janovsky (Ted) of San Diego, CA. Simon was preceded in death by his mother, Sybil Mae Hight.
