Shirley Ann Eyetoo

Funeral services for lifelong Towaoc resident Shirley Ann Eyetoo will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the Towaoc Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. A wake has been scheduled at 5 p.m. on Tuesday April 18, at the family home, 220 Whispering Wind Road in Towaoc. Shirley was born on November 6, 1942 in Towaoc, Colo., to Edward and Marie (Hight) Eyetoo. She passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at her home at the age of 74. Shirley was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed Sunday dinners with her family. She took great pride in gardening, sewing, making dolls and pottery, and her beadwork. She loved to travel and take drives with her family. Shirley is survived by her children, Julia Mirabal (Vince) of Ignacio, Aaron Eyetoo (Judy) of Towaoc, Leona Cuch (Andrew Cuch Sr.) of Towaoc, and Lionel Collins of Towaoc.; 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; also by her brother, Buddy Lopez of Towaoc; and her sisters, Doris Heart of Towaoc, and Dixie Eyetoo of Mascalero, N.M. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tina Marie Eyetoo; her sons, Larry Collins Jr. and Lawrence Collins; her grandson, Tevin Collins; and by her siblings, Raymond Eyetoo Sr., Julian Lopez, and Adeline Eyetoo.
