Shirley Ann Deer

Funeral services for Towaoc resident Shirley Ann Deer will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday November 2, 2019 at the Towaoc Recreation Center. Mr. Manuel Heart will officiate. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2019 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Shirley was born June 1, 1958 in Cortez, CO the daughter of Herbert Rockwell Sr. and Katy Deer. She passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019 in Pleasanton, CA at the age of 61.
Surviving Shirley are her children, Burton Billie of Durango CO, J’Rita Mills of Towaoc, CO, Windy Mills IV of Towaoc, CO; her brothers, Jack Cantsee Sr. of White Mesa, UT, Norman Lansing of Arboles, CO, Stacy Lancing of Towaoc, CO, Herbert Lansing of Denver, CO; and nine grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her daughters, Josephine Mills and Jeri Mills; her grandson, Baby Boy Frost; her brother, Victor Deer; and her sisters, Wanda Farjardo, Ramona Cantsee, and Colleen Lansing.
