SHIRLEN MORRIS HEATH JR.
Shirlen Morris Heath Jr. passe away on June 17, 2024 after suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
He is survived by his wife Belva Heath of 66+ years and one son, Greg Heath (Emily); and two grandchildren, Brendan Heath and Emmarose Heath (Solomon Apodaca).
Proceeding Shirlen in passing were his parents, Shirlen Morris “Bud” Heath and Sarah “Sally” Heath; his two sisters, Wanda Dickey and Patricia “Pat” Hanno; two sons, Clinton Heath and Shawn Heath. Shirlen early in life enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and riding dirtbikes. He spent 30 years in construction, ending up with a successful company with two partners. After retiring he built a beautiful house in Mancos, Colorado. He then discovered a wonderful artistic talent in woodturning. Shirlen turned several pieces displayed in galleries as far as Washington D.C. and New York. After 30 prosperous years of wood turning, he had to retire the second time because of Parkinson’s. Shirlen’s wish was to be cremated and his cremated remains spread on the ranch with his two sons. No service will be held.
