SHAUN MICHAEL McANDREW Memorial services for Cortez resident, Shaun Michael McAndrew will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 23 at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Father Derrek D. Scott will be officiating. Shaun was born on October 31, 1978 in Farmington, N.M. the son of William Michael and Cherie (Lewis) McAndrew. He passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2005 in rural Utah at the age of 26. Shaun was a hardworking Stock Broker who owned and operated his own financial business. Outside of work, Shaun was an avid hunter and fisherman who belonged to the National Western Turkey Federation. He was very active in his community maintaining memberships with both the Kiwanis Club, and the Rotary Club. He also sat on the Cortez Cultural Board. Shaun is survived by his parents, Mike and Cherie McAndrew of Cortez; his grandparents, Tom and Ann McAndrew, and Don and Dolly Lewis all of Farmington, N.M. He leaves his brother, Patrick McAndrew; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial contributions can be made in Shaun's memory to benefit a scholarship fund in his name.
