SCENIE ELISSI MOORE Graveside services for Cortez resident and former Artesia, N.M. resident, Scenie Elissi Moore will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 9 at Woodvine Cemetery in Artesia, N.M. Scenie was born March 9, 1919 in Sims, Ark. the daughter of Joe and Mary (Bishop) Amerson. She passed away in Cortez in Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the age of 88. Surviving Scenie are her two sons, Donald Allen of Cortez and Billy Allen of Albuquerque, N.M. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert T. Moore.
