Russell John Klatt

RUSSELL JOHN KLATT Area resident, Russell John Klatt, passed away January 17, 2016 at his residence in Dolores at the age of 56. Memorial services may be scheduled at a later date. Russell was born July 18, 1959 in Robinsdale, Minn. the son of Richard Lawrence and Shirley Noreen (Coffman) Klatt. He passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Dolores. Following graduation from University of Hawaii with a Zoological Degree in Environmental Studies Russell was employed as a field technician for the Bureau of Reclamation. He was currently writing grants for the Bureau. In his spare time, Russell enjoyed being outdoors hiking, boating and fishing. He also loved carpentry. Surviving Russell are his mother, Shirley N. Roring-Peterson of Couderay, Wisc.; and his siblings, Tony Klatt of Arvada, Colo., Ken Klatt of Glenwood Springs, Colo., Rod Klatt of Lakewood, Colo., Colleen Taylor of Arvada, Colo., Teresa Klatt of Arvada, Colo., and Tim Klatt of Arvada, Colo.
