ROY LEE SR. Funeral services for longtime Aneth, Utah resident Roy Lee Sr. will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 22 at Aneth Terebinth Church. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Roy was born on March 15, 1930 in Sweetwater, Ariz. the son of John and Maggie (Tsosie) Lee. He passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 79. Surviving Roy are his wife, Lilly Jay Lee of Aneth; and his children, Earl Lee and wife, Velma of Aneth, Vern Lee and wife, Joan of Waterflow, N.M., Laurie Lee of Shiprock, N.M., Lorraine Butler and husband, Calvin of Kirtland, N.M., Darlene Lee and husband, Eugene Lansing Jr. of Aneth, Freida Lee and husband, Jess Lansing of Cortez, Lucretia Lee and husband, Norbert Dishface of Aneth, Rosita Rippy of Shiprock, and Lisa John and husband, Branley of Aneth; 33 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Doris Tsosie of Sweetwater, Ariz., Daisy Miller and husband, Kenneth of Farmington, N.M., Lilly Lee of Farmington, N.M., and Harry Lee Sr. and wife, Eleanor of Shiprock, N.M. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; by his son, Roy Lee Jr.; and by three grandchildren.
