Roy Dale Hornbaker

ROY DALE HORNBAKER Roy Dale Hornbaker was born on January 18, 1948 in Longmont, Colo. the son of Samuel Franklin and Doris Naomi (Parker) Hornbaker. He passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at his Lewis home at the age of 62. On October 21, 1978, Dale married Karen Marie Fairchild in Cupertino, Calif. Dale spent 27 years working for Intel in California and Arizona where he was a Facilities Manager. Dale also worked as a Facilities Manager at Campbell Community Hospital in Campbell, Calif. Dale enjoyed his retirement years tremendously. He had four pet mules that brought his life much joy. Surviving Dale are his wife of 32 years, Karen Hornbaker of Lewis; his daughter, Carolyn Hornbaker Summers and husband, Terry of Medford, Ore; his mother, Doris Naomi Hornbaker of Arlington, Tex.; his grandchildren, Tyler Dale Summers and Alyssa Micayla Summers, both of Medford, Ore; and his brother, Dennis Hornbaker and wife, Vikki of Arlington, Tex. Dale was preceded in death by his father. Memorial contributions may be made in Roy Dale Hornbaker’s name to the American Cancer Society. Cremation has taken place and private services are planned for Dale.
