Roselyn Elsie Howe

Roselyn Elsie Howe, 88 of Cortez, passed away on July 25, 2023 at Pikes Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was born January 16, 1935 at Two Grey Hills, N.M., the daughter of Eli Dauglechee and Katherine Kee Bia.

Surviving Roselyn are her children, Carolyn Tahy (Harlan) of Cortez, Martha Howe (Gregory Morill) of Cortez, Elvis Howe (Marilyn) of Mancos, Rosita Sligar (Michael) of Farmington, N.M. and Telford Howe (Nicole) of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her siblings, Samuel Soue and Matilda Willie. Roselyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Howe Sr.; children, Robert Howe Jr., Herbert Howe, and Loretta Howe; and her siblings, Daniel Chee, Lenora Price, Florencia Bowman, Norman Chee, Amelia Watchman, Nelson Soue, Emerson Soue and Delphine Allen.

Roselyn's family thanks all those who wish to support them in caring for her. Donations are being accepted at Ertel Funeral Home to help pay for her services.
