Rose Mary Plese

Services for Gallup resident, but most recently of Cortez, CO, Rose Mary Plese will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. A rosary will be held at 10 a.m. and a Memorial Mass will follow. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Rose Mary was born April 23, 1922 in Atrisco, NM the daughter of Steve and Antonia (Milosevich) Radosevich. She passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Vista Mesa Assisted Living in Cortez, CO at the age of 96.
Surviving Rose Mary are her sons, Anthony Plese of Tempe, AZ, Greg Plese of Gallup, NM, Ric Plese of Cortez, CO; her daughter, Debby Blossey of Austin, TX; her sister, Helen Martin of Houston, TX; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Rose Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Plese; her sons, Stanley Plese and Joseph Plese; her daughter, Lynda Williams; her granddaughter, Brittany Elise Blossey; and her siblings, Annie Petranovich, Mary Mihelcic, Jack Radosevich, Bill Radosevich and Dorothy Capps.
In lieu of flowers, the Plese family is requesting that memorial donations may be made to the Joseph and Rose Mary Plese Family Scholarship at the Northern Arizona University Foundation. The scholarship fund is for a student who resides in Gallup, New Mexico and is a graduate from a high School in Gallup.
