Memorial services for Mancos resident, Ronald Eugene Skinner, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Ronald Eugene Skinner was born on September 20, 1958 in Denver, Colo. the son of Kenneth Acel Eugene and Catherine Sneddon Skinner. He passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at his residence at the age of 57 years. Ronald married Pamela Sue Baugher on September 19, 1998 in Warsaw, Ind. Ron served in the National Guard and him, along with Pam, was a very active member of the United Search and Rescue of Montezuma County. Ron was the owner of Hi-Country Sales and Service and in his spare time he was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed snowmobiling. Ronald is survived by his wife, Pamela S. Skinner of Mancos, Colo.; his children, Adam Gregory Skinner (Tyana) of Kalama, Wash., Nathan Eugene Skinner (Amanda) of Boring, Ore. and Robin Willoya of Butte, Alaska; his siblings, Kathryn Irene Nichols of Phillipsburg, Kan., Kenneth W. Skinner (Shirlee) of Rocky Ford, Colo. and Donald Eugene Skinner (Linda) of LeMoyne, Neb.; and his five grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Charles Skinner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ron's name to United Search and Rescue of Montezuma County, P.O. Box 81, Cortez, CO 81321.
