RONALD DEAN ENGLEHART Memorial services for lifelong Cortez resident Ronald Dean Englehart will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 2 at the Lewis Arriola Firehouse. Ron was born on May 27, 1954 in Cortez, the son of Carl Edward and Ellen Yvonne (Brown) Englehart. He passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at the Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 52. Ron graduated from Dolores High School in 1972. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ron was an awesome father, brother and son. Surviving Ron are his children, Wayne Englehart of Cortez, Wendell Englehart of Dolores, Cinda Tunnell and husband, Cory of Cortez, and Ryan Englehart also of Cortez; and his mother, Ellen Yvonne Brown Englehart of Sabinal, Tex. He also leaves behind his siblings, Greg Englehart and wife, Elaine of Wamsutter, Wyo., Lou Englehart and husband, Dave Blankenship of Susanville, Calif., Ken Englehart and wife, Jeanie of Lytle, Tex., and Susanne Knapick and husband, Jack of San Antonio, Tex.; and one grandson, Heath Englehart. He was preceded in death by his father; and his siblings, Carl Wayne Englehart, and Connie Jean Englehart. Memorial contributions may be made in Ron’s name to Vectra Bank.
