ROME ADRIUS MARTINEZ Funeral services for Cortez resident Rome Adrius Martinez will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 12 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Cortez Cemetery. Pastor Don Henderson will officiate. Rome was born on January 25, 2006 in Albuquerque, N.M., the son of Sidney Victor and Corinna Lynn (Billings) Martinez. He passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Northern Navajo Medical Center. Surviving Rome are his parents, Sidney and Corinna Martinez of Cortez; his grandparents, Chester and Leora Billings and his grandmother, Pauline Mitchell, all of Cortez; his uncles, Merle Daukei, Jervis Mitchell, Anthony, Darrell, and Jayme Billings; his aunts, Cheryle and Lisa Billings; and many other close family members.
