Roger Duane Martin

ROGER DUANE MARTIN, 77, of Littleton, CO, and recently of Terrell, TX, passed away suddenly on July 8, 2023. Roger was born on September 30, 1945, in Durango, to parents Viola and Paul Martin of Dove Creek, CO.  He spent his early years in Dove Creek and moved to Boulder, CO, to pursue higher education.  He attended University of Colorado for a BA Degree.  He then entered Regis University in Denver and graduated with a PhD in foreign languages.  He remained at Regis in the capacity of Asst. Dean and Professor until retirement in July 2010.

Roger enjoyed many interests, including horses, dogs, piloting a Cessna, geology, astronomy, gardening and cooking.  He had such a talent of cooking.

Roger was a very special person and is and always will be sorely missed.

Graveside ceremony is set for July 20, 2023 at the Dove Creek Cemetery at 10:00 a.m.
