ROGER ALAN PRIBBLE Memorial services for Dove Creek resident, Roger Alan Pribble will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25 at the Dove Creek First Baptist Church. Inurnment services will follow at the Dove Creek Cemetery. Roger was born on September 27, 1946 in Durango the son of Ursel E. and Louise (Randolph) Pribble. He passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at his home in Dove Creek at the age of 59. Roger served his country in the U.S. Army and went on to become a Fireman. He maintained a membership with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and served as Dove Creek’s Mayor from 2002 through 2004. He loved to trade and hunt. Surviving Roger are mother, Louise Pribble Eaton of Dove Creek; his children, Clinton Shane Pribble and wife, Jaclyn of Bloomfield, N.M., Shanna Gonzales and husband, Steven of Dove Creek, and Shaleen Pribble of Denver, Colo. He leaves six grandchildren; and his siblings, Denise Pribble and husband, Harley Gardner, James Pribble and wife, Jeanie, Finley Pribble and wife, Sally, Ronald Pribble and wife, Donna. Preceding him in death were his father, Ursel Pribble; and his sister, Debra Buffington. Memorial contributions can be made in Roger’s name to Hospice of Montezuma. Services are under the direction of the Ertel Funeral Home.
