Rodney George Bland

Rodney George Bland, age 60, passed away on 1/22/2019 in Carbondale, Colorado.
Memorial services for Rodney Bland will be held on Sunday, February 3, at 2 p.m. at the Ertel Memorial Chapel in Cortez.
Born in Springfield, Colorado on April 26, 1958 he was the son of Irene Hauser and Ervin Bland. He attended school at Fort Lewis College, in Durango, Colorado and Trinidad Junior College, in Alamosa, Colorado. He was employed by the Colorado State Division of Wildlife and worked as a Fish Hatchery Specialist for Crystal River Hatchery.
He is survived by his two brothers; Randy and Patrick, and three sisters; Tina, Teresa, and Cherlynn. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Anna, Ashley, Bobby, Jacob, Kassy, Nickolas, Orlene, Roger, Sarah, Stas; his step father, Larry Hauser; along with several grand nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents.
