RODGER WAYNE BELL Funeral services for Mancos resident Rodger Wayne Bell will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 1 at the Mancos L.D.S. Church. Bishop Lyman Bayles will officiate. Interment will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery. A time for friends to gather has been scheduled for Friday evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Rodger was born on June 21, 1962 in Grants, N.M., the son of Billy Dean and Rinda (Roundy) Bell. He passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at the UNM Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M. at the age of 44. Surviving Rodger are his loving wife, Nora Bell of Mancos; his children, Brandon Bell and wife, Ewa, and Lacy Bell, all of Mancos; and his mother Rinda Bell of Cortez; and his siblings, Nancy Lowery and husband, Gordon of Hominy, Okla., Johnny Bell and wife, Shirley of Cedaredge, Colo., Scott Bell and wife, Patti of Cortez, and Kim Bell and wife, Tawnee of St. George, Utah. Rodger also leaves behind a grandchild that has not yet been born. Preceding him in death are his father; and his sisters, Billie Jean and Joylynn Bell. Memorial contributions may be made in Rodger’s memory to the Mancos Fire and Rescue Squad.
