Robert "Shorty" Francis Gilpin

Memorial services for Robert Shorty Francis Gilpin will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Cortez Cemetery. Shorty was born April 10, 1934 in Ackman, Colorado the son of Eugene Albert and Grace Marie (Foster) Gilpin. He passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at his residence at the age of 84. Surviving Shorty are his children, Lewis Gilpin (Shelly) of UT, Doris Price (Bob) of UT, Evelyn Gilpin, Janice Gilpin and Kathryn Connor (Don); his siblings, Angelia Kuykendall (Johnny) of Mancos, CO, Pearlene Vansickle (Steve) of OK, Isaac Gilpin (Betty) of Mancos, CO, June Beckham (Bill) of Abilene, TX; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shorty was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Wanda St. John, Geraldine Gilpin, Jessey Gilpin and Willie Gilpin.
