ROBERT LINDSAY “BOB” YOUNG Memorial services for longtime Cortez resident Robert L. “Bob” Young will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Church. Greg Holmesley will officiate. Bob was born on October 15, 1923 in Bozeman, Mont., the son of William Lindsay and Teresa (Krueger) Young. He passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at his residence at the age of 83. On September 11, 1954, Bob married Margarette Louise “Peggy” Ladd in Lawrenceburg, Ind. They celebrated 52 1/2 beautiful years together. Bob graduated from San Jose State College with a degree in Business Administration. He was a faithful member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses church, Bob loved the field ministry and preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed time spent golfing. Surviving Bob are his wife, Peggy Young of Cortez; his daughter, Sharon Lynn Bagby and husband, David of Sage, Calif.; his grandson, Scott Ferguson; and his brother, William Young. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Betty Young. In lieu of flowers, cards and your presence at the memorial service will be appreciated.
