Robert Lee Grant

ROBERT LEE GRANT Memorial services for Mancos resident Robert Lee Grant will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28 at the Mancos First United Methodist Church. Robert was born the only child of Harris and Gladys Irene (Bull) Grant on August 23, 1937 in Santa Cruz, Calif. He passed away at his home in Mancos on Monday, November 20, 2006 at the age of 69. During his working career, Robert was an Ordinance Specialist for Lockheed. He and his wife, Joy, moved to the Mancos Valley 15 years ago. Shortly after their move to Mancos, Robert began construction of their home, building it himself. He also enjoyed woodcarving and gardening. Robert was a member of the Mancos United Methodist Church. Surviving Robert are his wife, Joy Grant of Mancos; his son, Mark Grant and wife, Constance of Seattle, Wash.; his daughter, Robin Murphy and husband, Michael of Seattle, Wash.; one grandson, Justin Murphy of Seattle, Wash.; and one granddaughter, Heather Lange also of Seattle, Wash.
