Robert Lee 'Bob' Maez

Funeral Mass for Mancos resident Robert Lee ‘Bob’ Maez will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Cortez, CO. Father Lorenzo Uribe will officiate. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Rosary will begin at 7 p.m.
Bob was born September 25, 1935 in Lewis, CO the son of Edward and Perfilia (Lobato) Maez. He passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his residence at the age of 85.
Surviving Bob are his loving wife, Martha Maez of Mancos, CO; his children, Lynelle Fusner of Mancos, CO, Michael Maez (Mary) of Mancos, CO, Karl Maez (Nora) of Solomon, AZ, Kimberly Dimaggio of Mancos, CO; his siblings, Elizabeth Amador (Richard) of San Jose, AZ, Dean Maez (Mannelita) of Cortez, CO, Allen Maez (Valerie) of Lewis, CO; 18 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Robert K. Maez, and Jeffrey Maez; his brothers, Charles Maez, and Leonard Maez; his granddaughters, Martha Kaufusi, and Jennifer Maez; and his great great granddaughter, Rae-Lynn Merino.
