RICHARD "RICK" ROHRSCHEIB Memorial services for Dove Creek resident Richard "Rick" Rohrscheib will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 5 at Dove Creek First Baptist Church. Rick was born October 6, 1959 in Urbana, Ill. the son of Harold Albert and Katheryn Gustina (Davi) Rohrscheib. He passed away at his Dove Creek home on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the age of 52. Rick proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. He married Cheryl Lynn Bryan on March 6, 1992 in Homer, Alaska. While living in Anchorage, Rick managed a glass company for a number of years. The family moved to the Dove Creek area 13 years ago where Rick became involved in farming and gardening. Rick had a generous and compassionate heart. He had a deep love for animals and loved helping and doing tasks for others. Surviving Rick are his wife of 20 years, Cheryl Rohrscheib of Dove Creek; his children, Katie and Ben Rohrscheib both of Dove Creek; and three brothers and one sister. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; and by one sister. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Richard "Rick" Rohrscheib at Community Bank of Colorado in Dove Creek.
